Noor Dubai Foundation
Noor
Dubai was launched in 2008 with the vision of a world free from
avoidable causes of blindness. It implements therapeutic and
preventative programmes to combat blindness and visual impairment in the
UAE and around the world, focusing on remote areas that lack healthcare
resources and infrastructure in Africa and Asia. The Foundation also
provides mobile eye clinics, runs educational and preventative
programmes and invests in training programmes for medical personnel.
Al Jalila Foundation
Established
in 2012, Al Jalila Foundation seeks to invest in medical education and
research to improve people’s lives and position the UAE at the forefront
of medical innovation. To achieve its vision, the Foundation focuses on
advancing the country’s healthcare services and research capabilities,
as well as providing scholarships to nurture the next generation of
healthcare professionals in the UAE.
Fathers’ Endowment
The
Fathers' Endowment campaign was launched in February 2025 in honour of
fathers in the UAE. It aims to establish a sustainable endowment fund,
with proceeds dedicated to providing treatment and healthcare for the
poor and underprivileged. The campaign also aims to support healthcare
systems in underserved communities by developing hospitals, supplying
medication, and ensuring access to necessary treatment. It promotes the
values of honouring parents, kindness, compassion, and solidarity, while
strengthening the UAE's role in charitable and humanitarian work.
11.5: Edge of Life
The
11.5: Edge of Life campaign was launched in February 2026, aiming to
develop sustainable solutions and implement programmes to rescue 5
million children from hunger in underprivileged communities around the
world, especially in areas affected by natural disasters, crises, and
conflict. Every minute, five children under the age of five die
worldwide due to malnutrition and hunger, underscoring the UAE’s
leadership in regional and global humanitarian action.
